Moms' Coffee Date

If it's Friday, you know we're happy to be linking up with  Erika ,  Narci , and  Andrea ! It has been so WARM here this week!  It feels like summer.  In some ways I am ready for it, but the teacher in my would love 1 more snow day!  We'll see what the rest of the winter hold.  Here are some of my favorites this week: Favorite #1 As I blogged about last Friday, we went to Pittsburgh, PA for a dance competition last weekend.  This was out first time visiting this city and I must tell you that it is AWESOME!  It is honestly one of the best cities that I have visited.  It was beautiful, clean, and everyone was friendly.  Our hotel was located near Point State Park, which is very near the baseball and football stadiums.   My husband, who loves all sports, was in heaven!   The views of the rivers and city were breathtaking.  We were able to do a lot in our short time there.  I am working on a blog post o...

This month's linkup is SCHOOL DAYS! Thanks to Andrea and Erika for this opportunity! Wow, July 25th and talking about school already! Actually, when we went on our coffee date together last week, Trina started school supply shopping for her girls! I, on the other hand, am totally bummed that my kids' school has decided to provide their school supplies this year. Are you crazy, you might ask? Ladies, I LOVE to school supply shop. Buying new pencils and pens and highlighters and post-its...the list goes on. I am a total dork, but I love it all! Can I also take a second to freak out a little bit that Gavin, my oldest child, is entering into 7th grade?!?! Argh! I remember going into 7th grade. Scary stuff. Will is heading into 3rd and sweet Elliot will be in what we call Pre-K4. These are my 3 kids on the first day of school last year. But by far, I find the posts about how they live an ordinary day to be absolutely fascinating!
