Fall Decorate #FallBucketListMCD

Let's check another item off of our Fall Bucket List! I Fall Decorated! Actually, I've BEEN Fall decorated. So early, that people were making fun of me, but no matter. My family and I enjoy it! Hope you like it and get some ideas if you haven't taken the Fall decorating plunge yet! This is out on my kitchen counter. I love this sign! You can both the sign  and the glass container at Hobby Lobby! I love a festive soap container! This one is cute and glittery from Kirkland's. I couldn't find a link on the site. I bought it at their store.  Simple leaf garland going up the stairs. And the pink sparkly trick or treating pumpkin Elliot picked out! Football Pumpkin  on our bookshelf behind the couch with a pumpkin filled basket.  Love this sign! Also from Kirkland's bought at the store a couple of months ago. Now, where have I seen this before? I printed a copy on Shutterfly, and affixed it to my laundry room door, so ...

What's Up Wednesday {8-31}

WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK... T-It is back-to-school time, so I have been busy getting things ready for my girls and my K classroom and kids.  This means that I have less time and energy to put into our meals.  My solution to this problem is my slow cooker!  I use it all of the time in the fall and winter!  My family's favorite is Chicken Tortilla Soup.  I will post this recipe later this week.  It is AWESOME! S- This is always a tough question for me to answer! I am really trying harder to be more prepared!! My kids first week of school was Monday, so I am trying to make our evenings simple as we ease back into the routine. Sounds like a couple of crock pot meals, salads and pasta! We did make homemade pizza the night before school started. Always a hit! I will share with you our recipe soon! We will also be eating  oatmeal chocolate chip cookies  this week! I am even thinking about sending some to the kids teachers on Friday as a Thank...

Rare Coffee Date!

Hi Coffee Daters! I hope you enjoyed our multiple posts today on our social media! We thought it would be fun to show you our actual extended coffee date! Trina and I only have the opportunity to see each other a few times a year, since we live in different cities, hours apart. We truly cherish these few days a year we get to spend together. We have done this so many times now, that we have sort of a routine to maximize our time together.  First, we meet at our usual spot. Trina drops her car off and I am chauffeur for the day! We go to a Starbucks and get some coffee, because...it's Moms' Coffee Date! (Sorry! I couldn't resist!) Next, we take our coffees and head to the nearest Target to browse WITHOUT kids! We talk about our kids and trade tips about what we have seen there that has been helpful lately! Today, I got a lesson in being a Dance Mom! Trina's girls are into dance. I learned that the leotards at Target are good quality, but at a much lower cost tha...

A Day in the Life...

Hi everyone! Grab your favorite cup of whatever and take a peek at what life is like in my world! I follow other blogs, and I love the recipes they post, fashion ideas and other tips. But by far, I find the posts about how they live an ordinary day to be absolutely fascinating! There are so many ways to live life, to pull back the curtain and see how other people do it is so interesting! With that said, I hope it's ok if I share a day in my life with you. If that's not for you, that's cool too! Let's take today** for example. Today, I slept in, because it's summer!! Love, love, love the sleeping in part. And it was so strange that every single other person was sleeping still. I looked at the clock and it was 7am on the button. I shot out of bed remembering that today was the day to linkup with Mix & Match Mama and A Little Bit of Everything blog! Trina and I have been wanting to reach more people and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.  **Ok, when...
