Friday Favorites- November 18th




Favorite #1
THE CROWN!!!!  If you do not know what I am talking about, this is the newly released Netflix series about Queen Elizabeth II.  I have not watched the entire 1st season yet, but the few episodes that I have seen are great!  I must also tell you that I have always been fascinated by British Royalty, so this show is right up my alley.  Give it a try...I hope that you will love it as much as I do!

Favorite #2
My family and I visited my grandfather on Sunday at his home in southern Virginia.  It was a wonderful, much needed break from our busy routine!  Here is a view from his house:

We talked, played corn hole, ate a lot of great food, and played with 2 beagles.  What could be better?!

I am only 5'3", so finding pants that are the correct length is always a challenge.  Often, the petite length sizes are too short and the regular length sizes are too long.  I finally found great pants for work that I don't have to hem!  They are the Marisa trouser pants from Loft.  I got them in their "short" length (not petite) and they are honestly perfect.  I LOVE THEM!

If you are short, like me, give them a try.  If you are not short, they also have them in regular and tall lengths as well.  They are comfortable and look great for work.

DisneyWorld!!

I haven't had an opportunity to blog yet about our trip to DisneyWorld! We just got back a few days ago! We had a great time, especially our little "Belle!" What a whirlwind, and I am still catching up! Did someone say laundry??

Holiday Spice Flat White from Starbucks

This pic doesn't do it justice. I get mine with 1 pump of mocha syrup, gotta have my chocolate! I think it is a nice blend of spices, but try it and see what you think! I got so excited to see this back on the menu for the season and in the red cups! Love those too!

Happy Memorial Day!

Grab a cup of coffee and get comfy! Here is mine below! I felt like I needed my coffee to take the preparation for this project on! On Saturday, my family and I had over 3 other families for a pool party and cookout. Here are some of the things we did! My homemade cold brew iced coffee! On Friday, I ran errands collecting supplies for the party. I came across these cute paper platters at Target! They were great for holding the hamburgers, hot dogs and buns. I also picked up some bubbles for the little kids, some juice boxes and water bottles, and of course, some pool floats and noodles, it was a pool party after all! Stranded! September 14: Movies

This month's Stranded Linkup hosted by Shay at Mix & Match Mama and Erika at A Little Bit of Everything is all about Movies!! I don't know about you, but this is a tough one! I love so many movies! I think these three I could watch over and over and over. I think that I have to go with my all-time favorite movie as a child for the first pick. 1st Pick Oh my gosh, you guys! I LOVED this movie SO much when I was little! Hayley Mills is my favorite! This version was the only one in existence when I was young, so I am biased and think this one is MUCH better than the Lindsay Lohan remake. 2nd Pick I mean, who doesn't love Will Ferrell and his crazy antics?!
